A fatal crash occurred in Stone Oak, and neighbors along Hardy Oak Boulevard are not surprised, citing common speeding in the area. The crash involved 19-year-old Jaqueline Flores, who was driving 87 mph in a 40-mph zone, and 64-year-old Valerie Keeney.

Some residents have expressed concerns about the speeding, including Jeannie Wilkins Bisesi, who has children learning to drive. She mentioned that if she had known about the speeding, she might not have chosen to live in the area.
