A 20-year-old San Antonio woman has been sentenced to 15 years in prison. She had been initially charged with murder, but the charge was waived in favor of an aggravated robbery charge as part of a plea deal.

The woman, Julie Marie Lopez, received credit for 499 days of time already served. Her case was heard in the 227th Criminal District Court, presided over by Judge Christine Del Prado.

Further details about the case, including the circumstances surrounding the initial murder charge, are available from the Bexar County District Attorney's Office and the San Antonio Police Department.
