A Venezuelan merchant has experienced two major natural disasters in his home country. The events occurred in the coastal state of La Guaira, with the first being devastating mudslides in 1999.

Twenty-six years later, the region was hit by two powerful earthquakes. The merchant, Grian Serrano, survived both disasters. He was left with physical injuries, including bruises around his left eye and on much of his body.

Further details about Serrano's experiences and current situation are available from KSAT 12, the local news source in San Antonio.
